Since then he has tech’ed such shows as Nunsense, Much Ado About Nothing, the Bard in the Yard project, and Poe & Pints, among others. For BITY I-4 he composed all of Puck’s lines. EMILY ANDERSON

Emily Anderson, like most theatre junkies, has been interested in the theatre from a young age. She is the Executive Director and founder of Ghost Light Productions, and she continues to act, direct, and write for her passion. She graduated from UNR with a BFA in performance and technical theatre. She believes that in order to be a good theatre artist, one must have an understanding and respect for both the acting and technical side of theatre. After Reno, Emily traveled to Las Vegas where she worked for the nation’s most recognized children’s theatre group: The Rainbow Company. While there, Emily taught children acting classes, technical theatre, and the basic principles and understandings of performance art. RC won the Children’s Theatre Medallion of America and was inducted into the UNLV Artistic Hall of Fame during this time. Emily believes in presenting quality theatre that can be both original, innovative, and can provide a home for the people or children who seemingly may have nowhere else to fit in. Emily serves as our Costuming Consultant.

WENDY RAMIREZ

Wendy Ramirez made her local stage debut in Great Basin College’s musical production of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. Since then, she has appeared in such shows as The Seagull, The Odd Couple, Poe & Pints, Romeo and Juliet, The Phantom Tollbooth, and Bard in the Yard among others. Miss Ramirez made her directorial debut in the early 2000’s at the helm of The Vagina Monlogues and later directed The Laramie Project. She has acted, directed or has been a technician with groups including the Silver Stage Players, Ghost Light Productions, and the GBC Theatre program. Wendy brings her many years of make-up design to tonight’s performance of Bard in the Yard 4!

DONALD JONES

In 2005, Donald played Conrade and created the set for Much Ado About Nothing. He has been involved, as an actor or technician, in almost all of the SSP shows since then. Among others, stage manager for the children’s theatre production of Land of the Dragon, played the Priest in The Man of La Mancha, technical director in Ghost Light Productions' Poe & Pints, set design for Glengarry Glen Ross, and participating in Bard in the Yard. Mr. Jones has directed such shows as The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, The Princess and the Enchanted Swans, and The Pirates of Penzance.

Two highlighted roles from that time period are “Maria” in The Sound of Music and “Laurey” in Oklahoma. Late spring of this year, Kate was Stage Manager for GLP’s Welcome to Rex’s! JAQUES ERRECART

Producer, Owner Duncan LittleCreek Gallery.

JOSH WEBSTER

Josh Webster is the last practitioner of an obscure and obsolete form of haruspicy devised by a misanthropic sect of Norman alchemists days before The Battle of Hastings. As the divination method requires a distinct species of Welsh tree frog extinct since 1712, it’s study and current practice is purely theoretical. Because of this, in addition to his haruspex duties, Josh also teaches at Great Basin College and writes in his spare time. He reads far too many comic books and struggles to take any autobiographical writing task seriously. Mr. Webster serves as Assistant Director for Bard in the Yard 4 while making his Silver Stage Players directorial debut with tonight’s performances of Titus Andronicus and The Merchant of Venice.

FRANK L. SAWYER

Directing Bard in the Yard for the fourth time is local director, actor, and community volunteer Frank L. Sawyer. I Do!, Much Ado About Nothing, Lysistrata, The Last U.S. Mail Stage Robbery, and Poe & Pints, among others. Frank most recently helped direct the Elko Centennial program this past May. Frank is employed at GBC. He has served on the city Arts and Cultural Advisory Board, the GBC Arts and Cultural Enrichment committee, and the NEH Grant Committee. He is a member of Alpha Psi Omega national theatre and Phi Theta Kappa honor societies. He lives in Elko with his family and theatre puppy Starbuck.
